Madagascar Ginger Powder — Intensity and aromatic freshness
Our Madagascar ginger powder is obtained by drying and finely grinding fresh ginger rhizomes (Zingiber officinale). Its beautiful amber-yellow powder releases a vivid, spicy and lightly citrusy aroma, characteristic of top-quality ginger.
Aromatic profile
Warm, spicy notes with a tangy edge and a lingering heat on the palate. High aromatic concentration thanks to low-temperature drying, which preserves essential oils and active gingerols.
Recommended uses
Baking: gingerbread, cookies, cakes, creams. Asian and Indian cuisine: curries, soups, marinades, stir-fries. Drinks: teas, infusions, ginger juice, smoothies. Sauces, chutneys and condiments.
Storage
Store in an airtight jar, away from light and humidity. Optimal shelf life: 12 to 24 months.

Frequently asked questions
How much ginger powder should I use?
For a curry (4 servings), ½ to 1 teaspoon is enough. For ginger tea, ¼ teaspoon in 250 ml of hot water. As our ginger is pure and fresh, it is more concentrated than industrial powders — start cautiously.
Can it replace fresh ginger?
Yes: ¼ teaspoon of ginger powder is roughly equivalent to 1 cm of grated fresh ginger. The powder is more convenient but has a slightly different profile — spicier, less fresh.
